Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We keep contact form submissions for customer service purposes only. We do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

What we collect and store
While you visit our site, we’ll track:

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Data retention period
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Your address and contact details are stored in our database so that we have a record of each order – should any problems arise in the future. Storing customer details enables our office staff to process repeat orders quickly and enables you to access your order history on our website. Please contact us if you wish to remove your details from our database
Sharing your information
We do not share your Credit Card details with third parties – Online payments are dealt with entirely by Barclaycard ePDQ and PayPal.
We do share your address and contact details with our delivery partners: Royal Mail. For parcels we will pass on your address details, contact telephone number and e-mail address. This is to enable the courier to get in touch if there is a problem with the delivery and also enables them to send a text or e-mail with a delivery update.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.
