It is a straight forward replacement needing no adaptation. Simply un-srew your existing Carver/Truma MK 1 & 2 Housing and replace it with the new FILTAPAC cartridge. It eliminates any possibility of escapes of carbon into your water system reducing damage to pumps and pressure switches. It recycles the major plastic parts of the filter resulting in less damage to the environment.
